Curiosity Incubator &
Interpretive Master Plan
The Berkshire Museum faced financial troubles and declining attendance for years. After many attempts to find solutions (like merging with other institutions) the Board decided to hire us to create a new interpretive master plan. We led countless community and stakeholder advisory meetings, brainstorming sessions, deep collections dives, the creation of a 1000 square foot prototype gallery, and conducted audience research with 450 individuals. This enabled the development of a new interpretive master plan as well as a master plan for operations, and a business plan.
