The Blackstone River Valley is a region of national importance. It is the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution and has led the world in scientific innovations for centuries. Recognizing this import, the region was identified a National Heritage Corridor. The National Park Service, Massachusetts' Department of Conservation and Recreation, and local funders worked with us to design, build and implement a brand-new visitor center in Worcester, MA. Opened in the fall of 2018, the exhibits create a hub for learning about the region while at the same time, encourage guests to overcome distance and explore remote sites as well.
