Martha's Vineyard Museum
6 new galleries
The Martha’s Vineyard Museum was originally known as the Dukes County Historical Society. It was founded in 1922 and incorporated the following year. In recent time, the museum realized the need for better collection storage, improved access, and more space for exhibitions and public programming. To solve this concern, the Museum purchased the former 1895 Marine Hospital in Vineyard Haven in 2011. EXP developed, designed and produced the interpretive mission, all exhibition design and media design, and fabricated and installed a six-gallery experience in a now renovated and expanded building. Opened in March 2019, it is a jewel of the Island and is sure to reach thousands of guests annually.
